Terms of Use

Effective date: June 2, 2026

These terms set clear rules for submissions, site use, moderation, and public participation in the Save Tarpon Woods preservation effort.

Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, submitting information, joining alerts, uploading files, or accessing admin tools, you agree to these Terms of Use and all related policies posted on the site.

Purpose of the Site

This site supports public advocacy, conservation messaging, neighborhood preservation, wildlife and habitat documentation, public-record organization, resident coordination, and moderated publication of information related to Tarpon Woods Golf Course and surrounding community concerns.

No Unlawful or Harmful Use

You may not use this site to submit false information, defamatory statements, threats, harassment, doxxing, private personal information about others, copyrighted materials you do not have permission to share, unlawful surveillance, trespass-based evidence, or content that encourages violence, vandalism, intimidation, or interference with lawful public processes.

Moderation Rights

Save Tarpon Woods may review, edit for clarity, decline, remove, archive, or publish submissions at its discretion. Submission does not guarantee publication. Public content may be corrected or removed if it is inaccurate, unverifiable, legally sensitive, duplicative, unsafe, or inconsistent with the mission.

User Submissions

By submitting content, you represent that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to submit it, and that publication will not violate someone else’s rights. You grant Save Tarpon Woods a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, review, display, publish, reproduce, distribute, edit, and use the submission for preservation, conservation, public education, advocacy, evidentiary, and website purposes.

No Legal, Environmental, Engineering, or Government Advice

Site content is for public information and advocacy. It is not legal advice, environmental consulting advice, engineering advice, land-use advice, or official government guidance.

Accuracy and Corrections

We work to build a reliable public record, but information may be incomplete, evolving, disputed, or based on third-party sources. If you believe content is inaccurate, unsafe, defamatory, copyrighted, or otherwise improper, contact us with the page URL, concern, and supporting details.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Save Tarpon Woods, its organizers, volunteers, contributors, administrators, and representatives are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from use of the site, reliance on site content, user submissions, third-party links, outages, data loss, or moderation decisions.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Save Tarpon Woods, its organizers, volunteers, contributors, administrators, and representatives from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, expenses, and attorney fees arising from your submissions, your use of the site, your violation of these terms, or your violation of another person’s rights.

Polls and Resident Surveys

Participation in polls and surveys is voluntary. Polls and surveys may be limited to adults registered through Save Tarpon Woods Join Alerts. One-time email verification protects subscriber identity before eligibility, subscription status, or personal survey history is displayed. Codes, access sessions, and secure single-use review links expire. Verification never subscribes or reactivates an address. The first identified survey allows one current response per eligible adult subscriber.

Each survey states whether it is anonymous or identified, who may respond, and the active response limit. Identified answers may be reviewed by authorized administrators and used for neutral aggregate analysis, outreach, volunteer coordination, and requested communication segmentation. Individual responses are not publicly displayed with personal identifiers.

You must provide truthful information, use only your own verification code or secure link, and not attempt duplicate responses, impersonation, manipulation, automated voting, or interference with survey access. A survey response does not waive legal rights. Global unsubscribe requests remain controlling, and requesting supporter-strategy communications does not guarantee access.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the updated terms.

Property Incident Records: Community Copies and Outside Filings

A Property Incident Records submission goes only to Save Tarpon Woods for community documentation, review, pattern analysis, anonymous statistics, advocacy planning, and possible future community use. It does not notify any golf-course owner, County office, insurer, police agency, attorney, court, or other outside recipient. You are responsible for every separate outside notice, claim, complaint, or filing and for preserving proof of delivery.

You must keep your own complete report and original evidence. Save Tarpon Woods is not a permanent personal archive or on-demand retrieval service and does not guarantee retention, completeness, or future retrieval. A Save Tarpon Woods reference number is internal only—not an official outside number or proof of notice.

Information may be reviewed, summarized, de-identified, aggregated, archived, or deleted under approved policies and operational needs. Information still held may be preserved or disclosed when required by applicable law or valid legal process.

Save Tarpon Woods — Protect the course. Protect the creek. Protect the wildlife.
