Legal and Advocacy Disclaimer

Effective date: June 2, 2026

Advocacy Site

Save Tarpon Woods is an advocacy and public-information website. It is not a government agency, not the owner of Tarpon Woods Golf Course, and not located at 1100 Tarpon Woods Blvd. That address identifies the property our neighborhood effort is focused on preserving.

No Professional Advice

Information on this site is not legal advice, environmental consulting advice, engineering advice, surveying advice, planning advice, medical advice, wildlife-handling advice, or official agency guidance. Content is provided for public awareness, conservation advocacy, resident coordination, and documentation.

Accuracy and Evolving Information

Land-use, permitting, public-record, wildlife, and agency information can change quickly. We may rely on public records, third-party sources, resident submissions, media reports, agency websites, and search-bot findings. We strive for accuracy, but we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free.

Opinion and Protected Advocacy

Some content may reflect opinions, concerns, interpretations, advocacy positions, or calls to action from residents, volunteers, or the preservation effort. Statements should be understood in the context of public participation, conservation advocacy, neighborhood concern, and debate over matters of public interest.

No Defamation, Harassment, or Personal Attacks

We do not invite or endorse defamatory statements, threats, harassment, vandalism, trespass, doxxing, stalking, intimidation, or personal attacks. Concerns should be stated respectfully, factually, and with source support when possible.

No Trespass or Unsafe Wildlife Activity

Do not trespass, enter restricted areas, disturb wildlife, feed wildlife, handle wildlife, damage property, block access, interfere with workers, or create unsafe conditions to obtain photos, sightings, documents, or evidence. Wildlife documentation should be lawful, safe, respectful, and non-invasive.

Third-Party Links and Documents

Links to third-party websites, documents, agency materials, media, maps, or public records are provided for convenience and context. We do not control third-party content and are not responsible for its accuracy, availability, privacy practices, or legal effect.

Correction, Takedown, or Legal Concern

If you believe content is inaccurate, legally sensitive, defamatory, copyrighted, unsafe, private, or improperly posted, contact us with the URL, the concern, your relationship to the issue, and any supporting information. We may review, edit, remove, or annotate content as appropriate.

Property Incident Records Is Not an Outside Filing Service

A private Property Incident Records submission is a community documentation copy sent only to Save Tarpon Woods. It does not create or send an official government complaint, insurance claim, police report, court filing, legal notice, or owner notice. Generated letters and narratives are unsent drafts. Residents must separately contact every intended recipient, meet any outside deadline, preserve proof of delivery, and keep their own complete copies and original evidence.

No permanent-retention, complete-preservation, or future-retrieval guarantee is made. An internal Save Tarpon Woods reference number is not proof of outside notice. Information still held may be preserved or disclosed when applicable law, a valid subpoena, court order, or other lawful process requires it.

Save Tarpon Woods — Protect the course. Protect the creek. Protect the wildlife.
